2. Main Idea — ใจความสำคัญ
Main Idea คือข้อความที่สรุปว่าเนื้อหาทั้งเรื่องกล่าวถึงอะไร คำตอบที่ถูกต้องต้องครอบคลุมบทอ่าน ไม่แคบหรือกว้างเกินไป

3. Supporting Details — รายละเอียดสนับสนุน
ข้อสอบรายละเอียดมักถามข้อมูลที่เขียนไว้ตรง ๆ ให้หาคำสำคัญจากคำถามแล้วสแกนกลับไปในบทอ่าน

อ่านคำรอบข้างและดูว่าประโยคมีความหมายเชิงบวก ลบ เหตุผล ผลลัพธ์ หรือคำอธิบายเพิ่มเติมอย่างไร

5. Reference Words — คำแทนที่อ้างถึง

Passage: Preparing for Military School
Narin wanted to enter a military school, so he began preparing several months before the examination. He knew that success required both academic knowledge and physical fitness. Therefore, he made a daily schedule that included study, exercise, and enough rest.
Every morning, Narin reviewed English vocabulary and mathematics formulas. After school, he practiced questions from old examinations. Mathematics was difficult for him at first, but he did not give up. He checked his mistakes, asked his teacher for advice, and practiced similar questions again. Gradually, his scores improved.
Narin also exercised for forty-five minutes each evening. Regular exercise made him stronger, and it also helped him stay calm. Before going to bed, he prepared his books for the next day and slept for at least seven hours.
On the examination day, Narin felt nervous but confident. His preparation taught him that discipline, consistent practice, and good time management were more important than luck.
